Rotwein + Blake was the design architect for Summit Health’s ground-up, two-story, 55,200 SF, multi-disciplinary medical office building in the downtown area of Livingston, New Jersey.
The architecture showcases a thoughtfully curated layering of materials consisting of multi-toned grey and beige brick, engineered wood and linear aluminum elements. Given the building’s proximity to a residential neighborhood, the choice of a soft material palette was selected to quietly bridge the commercial zone into the context of their residential neighbors. The result, a modern structure that exudes sophistication while maintaining a subdued presence within the community.
