Rotwein + Blake is seeking a full-time Senior Project Architect with 10+ years of experience to manage all phases of architectural projects with demonstrated technical expertise on projects of various scales and complexities including mixed-use multifamily, commercial, office, medical, retail and industrial.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all project documents including plans, sections, details, etc. as part of a complete construction document package/set
  • Provide project team leadership in coordinating execution of design intent into the construction documentation, specifications, and throughout construction administration
  • Manage project timelines, schedules, resources and project budget
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with construction documents and resolve any on-site issues
  • Resolve complex technical/design issues and provide guidance to team and consultants
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents
  • Understand the constructability of design in context with building systems, codes, materials, etc.
  • Provide final review and approvals of all code analysis, material selections, and specifications

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years minimum experience in architectural practice
  • Bachelors’ degree in Architecture
  • New Jersey Architectural license or on track for licensor preferred
  • Experience in schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration required
  • Demonstrate understanding of project process and implementation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship-management skills
  • Experienced in client interaction
  • Able to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Revit skills required
  • Proficient in Creative Adobe Suite applications
  • Strong knowledge of building codes required
  • Professional registration considered a plus
  • LEED accreditation considered a plus

Rotwein + Blake is seeking a full-time Project Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience to manage all phases of architectural projects with demonstrated technical expertise on projects of various scales and complexities including mixed-use multifamily residential, commercial, office, medical retail and industrial.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop architectural drawings and construction documents for all phases of a project, including design development, schematic design, and construction documentation.
  • Assist with preparing technical designs and details, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements, codes, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, civil engineers, etc.) to integrate systems and meet design and construction objectives.
  • Review and modify architectural plans based on client feedback, zoning regulations, and technical considerations.
  • Assist in the preparation of 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase, responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and assisting in resolving design-related challenges.
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget by collaborating with leadership and other team members.
  • Maintain documentation and records for all projects to ensure proper project management and compliance.
  • Stay updated on building codes, zoning laws, and other relevant regulations to ensure all architectural designs comply with legal and industry standards.

Rotwein + Blake is seeking a skilled and creative Intermediate Interior Designer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to join our team. This role requires a versatile professional adept in design, modeling, and production, capable of contributing to projects from concept through completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the leadership on all aspects of project design, including workplace strategy, programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
  • Assist with the furniture process, including budgeting, selection, specifications, change management, and client services.
  • Produce detailed 3D models and visualizations with proficiency in Revit
  • Conduct space planning for a variety of projects, ranging in size and function.
  • Translate design concepts into precise and accurate construction documents.
  • Create visioning, schematic, and design development presentations to thoroughly convey design intent, including sourcing imagery of similar project types and design ideas.
  • Coordinate project designs with architects and trades to ensure seamless integration.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and trades throughout the duration of the project.
  • Conduct product research and FF&E selection tailored to project needs.
  • Participate in marketing efforts, including design presentations to prospective clients.
  • Provide support to the interiors and architectural teams on various projects as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with material representatives.
  • Update and maintain the interiors resource library to ensure access to the latest materials and resources.
  • Ensure quality assurance practices are followed for all deliverables.
  • Effectively manage time to meet project deadlines and task requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • 5 years minimum of relevant design experience in interiors in an architectural and/or interior design firm
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-management skills
  • Ability to handle interior design assignments from schematic design through project completion
  • Demonstrate space planning skills
  • Demonstrate design and interior finishes selection skills
  • Proficient in Revit (minimum 5 years)
  • Proficient in Creative Adobe Suite applications
  • Working knowledge of Lumion and/or Inscape 3D platforms
  • Strong knowledge of building codes required
