Interior Designer- Intermediate

Our Interior Design practice is growing.   We are looking for an Interior Designer with 5 – 7 years of corporate interiors experience who is ready to embark on design challenges and creative opportunities. Candidate must be a self-starter, highly organized and work efficiently to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Market sectors include Corporate Headquarters, Tenant Improvement, and Multi-family/Mixed Use.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the interior design process and design principles
  • Team leader on interior design projects and collaborate with the Interior Design Director
  • Participate in programming project requirements with end users, space planning, and concept design sessions; Prepare meeting notes and follow-ups for design meetings
  • Participate in Field Survey of proposed space and square footage calculations
  • Demonstrate experience in selecting interior finishes, color selections, furniture and furnishings selections, and lighting selection
  • Develop FF+E specifications and establishing budget with clients; and monitor procurement process of FF+E while working with major manufacturer dealers
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team on project reviews and planning code requirements
  • Investigate material and construction costs options as it relates to project budget
  • Organize and prepare material product specifications
  • Participate in project production, develop detailed design concepts, produce contract documents, construction administration
  • Coordinate work with other consultants and disciplines
  • Assist other Interior Designers and Architects on staff
  • Meet with product representatives and assist with the resource library and CAD library maintenance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design
  • 5+ years’ experience on corporate projects
  • Strong Design portfolio
  • Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, InDesign
  • Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD, AutoCad 2015+, and 3D modeling
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and experience working on small project teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NCIDQ or CID certification desired but not required
  • LEED accreditation desired but not required
  • Virtual Design skills desired

Senior Project Architect

We are seeking a full time Senior Project Architect with 5+ years of experience to manage all phases of architectural projects with demonstrated technical expertise on projects of various scales and complexities.


  • Responsible for all project documents including plans, sections, details, etc. as part of a complete construction document package/set
  • Provide project team leadership in coordinating execution of design intent into the construction documentation, specifications, and throughout construction administration
  • Manage project timelines, schedules, resources and project budget
  • Resolve complex technical/design issues and provide guidance to team and consultants
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents
  • Understand the constructability of design in context with building systems, codes, materials, etc.
  • Provide final review and approvals of all code analysis, material selections, and specifications

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years minimum experience in architectural practice
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Architecture
  • Architectural license in New Jersey
  • Experience in schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration required
  • Demonstrate understanding of project process and implementation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship-management skills
  • Experienced in client interaction
  • Able to work both collaboratively and independently

  • Revit, Enscape and Lumion skills required

We are seeking a full time creative and motivated Architect with 0-5 years of experience to join our team and assist our senior staff in all phases of project design.

Qualifications include:

  • Ability to contribute to all phases of a project from Schematic Design through Construction Administration
  • Strong design skills as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills
