Our Interior Design practice is growing.   We are looking for a Junior Interior Designer with 3 – 5 years of corporate interiors experience who is ready to embark on design challenges and creative opportunities. Candidate must be a self-starter, highly organized and work efficiently to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Market sectors include Corporate Headquarters, Tenant Improvement, and Multi-family/Mixed Use.

Responsibilities:

• Project design including; workplace strategy, programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction administration, furniture process (budgets, selection and specifications, change management and client services)
• Space planning for a variety of projects ranging in size and function
• Implement design via construction documents
• Create visioning, schematic, and design development presentations that thoroughly convey design intent to the client, includes sourcing imagery of similar project types and/or design ideas
• Communicate and coordinate project design with architects and trades
• Communicate with clients and trades throughout the duration of the project
• Product research
• FF&E selection for projects
• Participate in marketing efforts and design presentations to prospective clients
• Support interiors and architectural teams on projects
• Schedule and coordinate material representative meetings
• Update and maintain interiors resource library

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years minimum of relevant design experience in interiors in an architectural and/or interior design firm
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills
• Ability to handle interior design assignments from schematic design through project completion
• Demonstrate space planning skills
• Demonstrate design and interior finishes selection skills
• Proficient in Revit and 3-d visualization tools
• Proficient in Creative Adobe Suite applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Familiarity with NJ Building codes
• Bachelors’ Degree in Interior Design or Architecture

We are seeking a full-time mid-level Project Architect with 5+ years of experience to manage all phases of architectural projects with demonstrated technical expertise on projects of various scales and complexities.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all project documents including plans, sections, details, etc. as part of a complete construction document package/set
• Provide project team leadership in coordinating execution of design intent into the construction documentation, specifications, and throughout construction administration
• Resolve complex technical/design issues and provide support to team and consultants
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents
• Understand the constructability of design in context with building systems, codes, materials, etc.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years minimum experience in architectural practice
• Bachelors’ Degree in Architecture
• New Jersey Architectural license or on track for licensor preferred
• Experience in schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration required
• Demonstrate understanding of project process and implementation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills
• Experienced with multi-family mixed-use projects preferred
• Able to work both collaboratively and independently
• Proficient in REVIT and 3-d visualization tools
• Proficient in Creative Adobe Suite applications
• Knowledge of building codes required
